Nearly 30 percent of children in Columbiana County, an Appalachian county located in Northeast Ohio, live at or below the poverty line. Rooted Red Creative has also served The Brightside Project in a crisis communication role responding to the East Palestine train derailment in February 2023 by managing press opportunities, communicating with donors, and developing a crisis relief page on the organization’s website.
